The effect of intradermal capsaicin on spontaneous pain, flare, allodynia and hyperaglesia (placebo data only) was analysed using a one-way repeated measures (RM) ANOVA. Holm’s Stepdown Bonferroni adjustment was performed to adjust for multiple comparisons. Statistical analysis was performed using the SAS 9.1 Program, SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA and Prism software version 5 (GraphPad Software, San Diego, CA, USA).
